GLAM 356

I am a Columbus girl through & through.
I'm from a small suburb on the southeast side,
and I love all things country
but I have always been a fan of big city lights.

Two of my best friends and a couple of my old cosmetology students are
from the Mansfield area, which introduced me to my current obsession.

There is a store there called Posh Beauty. I had heard so many amazing things about it. The store is a little boutique with clothing accessories, and the owner has even created her own make-up line. As a stylist this sounded like heaven. A one stop shop! However time and life never allowed me to make to Mansfield for pleasure, so I was never able to visit the place.

This year my beauty prayers were answered!
They opened a location right here in Columbus!

It's called Glam 365 & is located in the heart of the Short North!
My mom and I enjoy everything about the place when we go.

I had the best experience this past weekend and just HAD to share!
Sunday I made an appointment with one of their beauty master minds they have on staff
to get a FREE, yes I said FREE makeover. I was getting my maternity photos done and wanted
something soft an natural looking, but different from my everyday beauty routine!

I was blown away at the quality of these cosmetics.
It wasn't until I got pregnant that I really started thinking about what went on my skin.
And with my baby coming within the next week or so, my mom brought up the point about
my skin being against hers a lot & how I don't want harsh chemicals on her beautiful baby skin.

As Kendall, the make-up artist was applying mine she was so helpful and informative.
Telling me what was in the products, and teaching me how to apply it!

All the products felt so light weight, with coverage. But I could still see myself underneath. Meaning some of my freckles still showed through and it looked very natural. I fell in love with the foundation instantly! I actually couldn't leave without it! It was only $35, which in comparison to major beauty companies isn't bad.. however I know it is a leap from drugstore prices, but it was worth the investment.

First of all how cute is this packaging?

Secondly, take a look at the ingredients:

No Petro- Chemicals, Gluten Free, No Parabens, No Phthalates, No Sulfates,
No Synthetic Fragrances or Dyes, Cruelty Free & Made in the USA

One of the major things my mom and I learned during my make-up lesson is none of their products contain "Talc" which is a mineral combined with chemicals that is found in 90% of foundation (liquid or powder) lines. It can also be found in paint, paper, and ceramics. This substance will actually clog your pores, which is why it is in most make-up lines so that it is able to give you that "full" coverage look. So needless to say if it is in paint, why am i putting it on my skin??? And who wants clogged pores?

They have a full line from primers, to foundation, blushes, bronzers, shadow pallets, brow pencils, liners, mascara, to lipsticks & glosses. They even carry their own skin care line! & Everything smells SO AMAZING!! Which if you love it as much as I do, don't worry they sell their signature fragrance in candles to take home or a variety of perfume lines you can choose from!

That's not all with this place, I am telling you it is a little slice of heaven right her in Columbus Ohio.

Their accessories are to die for! So on trend and so much to choose from! There is something for everyone. Their clothes are AMAZING! From dresses, to skirts, leggings, and shirts! The best sweaters, scarfs and bags! I discovered these bamboo shirts there that are so soft & so comfy! They have the best graphic tee's and we were told while we were there over the weekend that THIS week they were getting in their own line of graphic tees! So of course I will be going back to snag some of my own!

They even carry this line by Heather Thompson called "yummie".
It's a shape ware line that is full of tanks, leggings, jeans, undergarments and more!
I will definitely be purchasing some of these items post baby!

All the girls are so helpful and nice that work there. I had actually entered a giveaway they were doing on their facebook page, which you can find if you click here. I ended up winning an adorable gold polka dot scarf  & the cutest pair of stud ear rings!

I love giving back to small business, and not large corporations when it comes to items like these!
So if you are in town, and in need of anything I have mentioned or just want to have a good time

Check out GLAM 356 located at:

988 North High Street

You will not be disappointed. I don't see myself every buying another kind of foundation and I am already looking forward to building up my own collection of their line!

Enjoy !

Molly
